1. Download Z.com Research mobile app (Android phones only) and register as a member.
2. After registering as Z.com Research member, please check "My Account" menu and look for "Video Research" from the list.
3. After choosing "Video Research", you will be required to register again to participate in the study.
4. There will be a survey to be answered to determine your eligibility to participate.
5. The survey will determine different profiles of video habits to participate in order to maintain the diversity of participants. If the quota is full, you will not be able to join the study for the time being.
6. If you are eligible to join this study, you will be notified and the app will guide you to finish the setup procedures.
7. By enabling the accessibility services and allowing usage access, as well as allowing the app to run in the background of your device, you can earn more points by accumulating the specified hours as outlined in the daily and monthly missions.
8. Any changes to the content of the research will be subject to the items in the announcement.

The App will run in the background of the device, allowing us to understand how you use your mobile phone and recording your information such as Web/App online behavior and mobile phone model number/IP address, etc. It will not record any of your personal, confidential or sensitive data, and it will continue to run until the accessibility and usage access is turned off.

After the Video Research study is installed, it will continue running in the background; you just need to use the internet normally according to your daily habits and no particular changes in behavior are needed.

To earn 3 points daily, participants must connect their device to the Internet and use it actively for a minimum of 5 hours on that day. Task completion will be assessed until 23:59 (GMT +8) daily, and daily activity timers will reset at 00:00 (GMT +8) the following day.

To earn 300 points monthly, participants must fulfill at minimum of 20 daily missions within a month. Monthly activity tracking begins at 00:00 (GMT +8) on the 1st day of every month, and lasts until 23:59 (GMT +8) on the last day of the month.

To turn off Video Research study, open “Settings” in your Android phone and turn off below access permission.
